Rajasthan, men and women traditionally wore necklaces, armlets, anklets, earrings
and rings. With the advent of the Mughal Empire, Rajasthan became a major centre
for production of the finest kind of jewellery.
Paintings of the legendary lovers like Dhola-Maru on camelback, hunting scenes
which included innumerable horses and elephants dominate the paintings of the
Marwar region.
Like Camel and Horse safaris, another popular form is the jeep safari. The jeep
safari not only refreshes and revitalises but one feels close to nature while
driving through the quiet and beautiful countryside.
